Primary Job Duties
Provide consistent, professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of facility products, features and amenities.
Evaluate and educate guests about applicable wellness recommendations.
Ensure facility equipment is functioning properly and report any concerns to Lead Esthetician or Spa Management.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
Prepare the room and restock supplies at the end of each shift.
Lift and move massage tables and portable massage chairs.
Promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as any promotions or discounts available.
Implement and apply all Resorts World core values, property, and department standards.
Maintain required licensing and updates.
Use a personal device or cellular phone for job‑related operational tasks and review of company documents.
Work in outdoor environments, standing for the majority of the time.
Network and engage guests confidently.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Availability for varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Effective communication in English.
Polished appearance and demeanor.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Forbes and/or AAA service standards.
Working knowledge of spa booking systems.
Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
Minimum Education and Experience
At least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in massage therapy.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Nevada Massage Therapy license.
Physical Demands
Tolerant of varying noise levels, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
Prolonged sitting/standing.
Bending and reaching.
Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items up to 50 lbs.
Eye‑hand coordination.
Compliance with Policies, Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.
