Job Description
The College of IST is seeking applicants for a part‑time position as a Researcher in Robotics, Human‑Robot Interaction.
Responsibilities
Conduct interdisciplinary research at the intersection of robotics, human‑robot interaction (HRI), and U.S. regulatory frameworks. Analyze how emerging robotic systems are deployed in real‑world contexts, evaluate their societal, ethical, and legal implications, and assess their impact on targeted groups.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Masters or PhD program in Robotics, Computer Science, Public Policy/Law, or a related field.
Strong background in Robotics or Human‑Robot Interaction.
Compensation The starting rate for this position is $18 per hour.
Background Checks / Clearances Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
