
CUSTOMER SERVICE REP II - SSC

Job Overview
Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Customer Service Representative to join our Team. The role involves servicing walk‑in customers, answering inquiries, providing samples, and completing sales transactions.
Compensation Expected base pay ranges from $21.38/hr to $26.78/hr at the start of employment, varying by location. Total compensation may include incentive compensation, commissions (if applicable), discretionary bonuses, short‑ and long‑term incentives, and company‑sponsored benefits.
Primary Objective Ensure effective and efficient coordination between the company and its customers with a high level of service and support, processing sales orders and resolving customer product or service issues.
Primary Function and Scope
Provide customer account management in a call center environment, including order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock check, and transportation management.
Handle high volume inbound calls using ACD (Automated Call Distribution).
Key orders, process faxes, and prepare reports.
Interface with internal teams and SSCs to address customer inquiries and order issues from entry to delivery.
Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
3+ years of call center or customer service experience.
Preferred focus on customer account management.
Competencies Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities; moderate computer skills (Word, Excel); detail‑oriented; ability to multi‑task, manage priorities and time effectively; strong interpersonal relationship‑building skills; professional, conversational voice quality.
Physical Job Requirements Regularly stand, use hands and arms, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May be required to lift 15‑30 lbs routinely and up to 70 lbs at times. Requires close, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
