Responsible for the development and coordination of accurate, well-supported project cost analyses, price estimates and proposals for MDSI goods and services. Reviewing and responding to RFPs and RFQs, initiating pricing requests and coordinating internal price reviews. Work independently and/or as part of a team supporting cost analysis and estimating function. Attention to detail is critical. Analyze RFP/RFQ requirements and project cost performance. Prepare cost estimates and proposals; prepare, analyze and evaluate Estimates to Complete. Prepare detailed, accurate, complete and timely cost analyses, estimates and proposals for MDSI customers and coordinate their review and approval by functional managers and company management prior to submission. Consider cost factors such as materials, labor, equipment, tools, testing, Other Direct Costs (ODC), transportation costs, as well as indirect rates and factors when preparing analyses, estimates and cost projections. Coordinate, submit, and track approved proposals; maintain department Proposal Log and centralized files. Assist Pricing Manager in administrative duties and stay current on company operations, engineering, manufacturing, production techniques and business software (e.g., Deltek/CostPoint). Review RFP/contract terms and conditions and SOW requirements to assess impact on cost of project performance; maintain accurate, complete and well-documented files. Determine preferred estimating techniques and methods for cost proposals and analyses; perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

BA/BS from a 4-year college/university and 1-3+ years related experience and/or training. Experience must include: a) pricing and administering DoD contracts and/or major prime subcontracts; b) Military/Aerospace industry with FAR/DFARS regulations. Strong written and oral communication skills. Outstanding organizational skills and ability to absorb/manage large quantities of information in a fast-paced environment. Ability to analyze technical and programmatic risk factors and incorporate these into cost estimates and analyses. Strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and build positive client relationships. Must be a US citizen. Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $69,500 to $115,000 annually Participation in Annual Incentive Program Benefit & Retirement Plans including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) with company matching, and other programs described by the company. Equal Employment Opportunity
