Education LevelCertification or Vocational## Description**Route Service Rep/ Warehouse:**
**Position Summary:**
This position is a year-round full-time position that requires skill to fill a dual role position. The ideal candidate must be personable, reliable, and trustworthy. The (RSR) position would require the individual to cover a specified delivery route on the Eastern Shore if another driver is either on vacation, sick or PTO leave. A twenty-four-foot box truck and cell phone are provided. Must be able to pass a DOT physical along with drug screening and background check. When not covering a route, you will be working on-site at the warehouse preparing and packaging linens for delivery. This position plays a crucial and key part within our organization. **Dual Position responsibilities: (RSR)*** Confirms daily customer requirements are accurate and fulfilled before leaving the facility.* Delivers clean linen to customers and collects soiled linen and return to facility.* Ensure customer has ample inventory before leaving customer location to satisfy their needs until the next delivery day.* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections utilizing physical inspection and entering company handheld devices.* Able to lift
50lbs. and push/pull loaded bins sometimes up to 600 lbs.## Qualifications**Warehouse:*** Support warehouse personnel when needed.* Unpacking incoming products, picking and re-packaging products for daily route distribution.* Inspection of incoming product for discrepancies.* Accurately document, count, weigh incoming and outgoing products by customer.* Fill in when needed.* Adhere to all local and federal safety regulations.**Requirements:*** Valid Maryland Class C driver's license* Able to pass DOT physical and drug screening* Experience with twenty-four-foot (24 ft) box truck and basic warehouse experience preferred.* Possess good hygiene and customer service skills including communication.Up To Date Laundry is one of the largest commercial laundries on the East Coast servicing hospitals and other healthcare facilities in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, D.C., and Virginia. We provide a full service to our customers from pickup to delivery. Our dedicated staff of laundry associates, drivers, and maintenance technicians, as well as administrative and management teams, ensure the delivery of hygienically clean laundry, year-round. Candidates must be comfortable working outside in inclement weather, handling soiled garments, and delivering products to a variety of separate locations.
