Chef Esther Choi — one of the most recognized Korean-American culinary voices in the country — is looking for a full-time social media manager and content creator to own her personal channels from the ground up.
Esther has 767K+ social media followers, 28.2M+ YouTube views on First We Feast’s Heat Eaters, 7 restaurant locations across NYC and Las Vegas, and regular appearances on the Today Show, Good Morning America, Food Network, Netflix, and HBO. She currently does all of her own social media. She needs someone who can step into her world and keep her channels alive and growing.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shoot, edit, and publish 12–16+ pieces of short-form video content per month (iPhone-first) Draft copy for all posts — captions, hashtags, audio selection Build and maintain a posting calendar with strategic event mapping Track KPIs (engagement, views, saves, shares, follower growth) and report monthly Shadow Esther at restaurants, events, TV shoots, and everyday moments to capture real-time content Manage DMs, comments, and inbound brand partnership inquiries What We’re Looking For:
2+ years creating social media content for a food creator, celebrity chef, or food/lifestyle brand Strong iPhone video + photo skills (you own an iPhone 15 Pro or later) Proven ability to create content that performs — we want to see the work, not the resume Deep familiarity with Korean American food culture Based in New York City with a flexible schedule (events happen on weekends and evenings) Proactive, self-starting, and comfortable in fast-paced environments Experience with content scheduling tools (Later, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, or similar) Travel flexibility for events, shoots, and appearances Nice to Have:
Executive assistant or operations background Existing network of food and lifestyle creators Korean language proficiency Photography and food styling experience How to Apply:
