All About Assets Protection Assets Protection (AP) teams protect guests, team members, and the brand, ensuring product is available by mitigating shortage risks, preventing and investigating theft and fraud, and responding to crisis events.
Role Overview – Executive Team Leader, Assets Protection The role offers experience managing a safe and secure culture, creating strategic AP strategies, and recruiting and developing hourly team members and leaders. No two days are ever the same, but a typical day will likely include the following responsibilities:
Drive total store sales and increase profitability by ensuring product is in stock.
Manage, influence and validate a safe and secure culture by driving physical security and safety processes; lead store response and emergency crisis situations.
Educate store leaders and teams on emergency preparedness and physical security procedures.
Identify shortage risks in key divisions and develop tactics that reduce shortage and drive profitable sales.
Act as a key resource for company initiatives for AP team leaders in your district/market.
Lead investigative and verbal de‑escalation classroom trainings; facilitate other trainings as needed.
Maintain all required training and manage internal investigations.
Anticipate and identify theft and shortage trends and develop proactive strategies to prevent them.
Schedule work shifts to align with guest and business needs, including early morning/overnight, evening, and weekends.
Build close partnerships with Store Director and regional teams.
Develop, coach and lead your team members and Team Leaders to elevate their skills and expertise.
Communicate and implement AP priorities to all stakeholders.
Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through inclusive behaviors and bias management.
All other duties based on business needs.

Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
Adaptability to current technology needs.
Self‑management and prioritization of tasks.
Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, climb ladders, and access all areas of the building.
Flexible work schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
