Phlebotomist III Float – Louisville, KY Location: Louisville, KY. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM–8:00 PM with rotational Saturdays. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a clean driving record required.

As a phlebotomy float, you will shift frequently to new patient centers, drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing. Duties include drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams, and billing support.

Salary: $20.81+ per hour, with eligibility for annual performance bonus. Total rewards package includes medical, dental, vision, and more.

Responsibilities

Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomy duties within a patient service center, doctor’s office, or as business needs dictate.

Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.

Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams.

Enter billing information and collect payment when required.

Coach, mentor and instruct new employees; serve as point of contact on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor.

Travel to additional doctor’s office or patient service center sites when needed.

Qualifications Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada and Washington.

Work Experience

Five years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Minimum three years in a patient service center environment preferred.

Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.

Keyboard/data‑entry experience.

The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.
