Job Description
Phlebotomist III Float – Worcester, MA
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM with rotational weekends.
This float position involves covering multiple patient service centers, drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and handling billing and payment collection. You will also coach and mentor new staff and serve as the point of contact for site staff.
Pay Range Pay range: $25.36 – $28.02 per hour. Salary offers may depend on experience, training, and certifications. Eligible candidates may receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities
Cover a designated territory, performing phlebotomy duties at patient service centers or doctors' offices as assigned.
Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
Collect specimens for drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams, following established procedures.
Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
Coach, mentor, and instruct new employees; act as a resource advisor for on‑site staff and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor.
Travel to additional doctors' office or patient service center sites as needed.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience
Five years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
At least three years in a patient service center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
The position requires effective communication in English.
