Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA degree.
2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
About the Job In this role, you will lead strategy development and execution with executive leadership for gTech Users and Products (gUP), one of Google’s largest operating teams, which is responsible for providing customer care and technical support for nearly all Google products.
You will have an opportunity to shape how Google launches products, how we provide support, how we drive efficiencies across a global operations team, develop scalable processes, onboard new partners, resolve top user issues, and how we provide technical implementation services to some of Google's most strategic partners.
You will stay focused on driving the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations through organizational design, long-term planning, and management support. You will use your strong set of business skills to craft stories and discover insights to help gUP make wide-ranging business decisions.
The purpose of the gUP GTM Business Strategy team is to function as internal consultants, providing business critical insights using internal and external resources, ensuring cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and managing change management initiatives.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $186,000-$270,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Define, prioritize, structure and execute strategic and operational initiatives which includes developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing data, leading analyses, and developing and implementing recommendations.
Drive operating excellence for the organization, including optimizing resource allocation, measuring/reporting progress against key objectives and managing business updates/quarterly reviews.
Deliver on complex initiatives that are foundational elements to the Mastery team achieving its learning and business objectives (e.g., end-to-end process standardization and optimization, measurement strategy, talent strategy, etc.).
Analyze business processes to identify potential issues and uncover/prioritize levers for improvement; influence executive stakeholders to implement suggested improvements.
Structure and package your work into compelling presentations and communications that influence various audiences including executives.
