Job Description
This role keeps Porchlight’s digital marketing running smoothly by executing email campaigns, maintaining website content, managing our social presence, and ensuring the right message is shared to potential clients with the optimal goal of lead generation.
This is an execution-focused role. You’ll work within established direction and systems, with room to grow as you build familiarity with our brand, our customers, and our channels. If you’re self‑organizing, detail‑oriented, and take pride in doing work that’s accurate and on time, you’ll thrive here.
This is a great early‑career role for new graduates with internship experience as well as marketers who are book lovers looking to make a move into publishing‑adjacent work.
Key Responsibilities
Build, schedule, and send email campaigns and newsletters
Update website content, landing pages, and product listings
Publish and schedule LinkedIn posts and run basic ad campaigns
Format and distribute marketing content across channels
Track campaign performance and compile regular metric reports
Maintain CRM data and lead tracking systems
Support the Sales team with campaign‑related needs and materials
Skills & Experience
0–3 years of marketing experience, including internships
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or similarly transferable)
Comfort updating website content and writing brief marketing copy
Basic understanding of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and Instagram
Strong attention to detail and a process‑driven approach to work
Good writing skills—clear, clean, and on‑brand
Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics)
Interest in books, publishing, or ideas‑driven brands is a plus

Marketing channels are consistently active and up to date
Your work is organized and easy for teammates to follow and build on
You become the person the team relies on to execute without being asked twice
Over time, you develop a strong understanding of our brand, customers, and what works
Compensation Salary range:
$45,000 – $55,000 annually, based on experience.
