Executive Director of Human Resources and Culture

Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Executive Director of Human Resources and Culture serves as the District’s chief human resources leader and a strategic advisor on workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, organizational culture, compliance, and leadership development. The Executive Director provides districtwide leadership so that Corcoran Joint Unified School District can recruit, develop, support, and retain high-quality employees in alignment with the District’s mission to create a positive, safe, and stimulating environment for all and its vision of being a destination district.

MA Degree in personnel administration, public administration, business administration, or a related field is required. Three years of management experience, including a minimum of three to five years in a human resources function (including site or district-level supervisory experience) with experience in employer-employee relations, including negotiations.

Valid California driver’s license and evidence of insurability. SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) or Administration certification desired. Fingerprint clearance, TB clearance, and other pre-employment requirements as required by law and District policy.
