
Senior Proposal and Marketing Coordinator

Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing and Proposal Coordinator in Acton, MA or Chicago, IL office, or remote work may be available at the discretion of the Company. The position will develop compliant, comprehensive, and compelling submittals (proposals and opportunity‑specific statements of qualifications (SOQs)) on a regional or corporate level to win profitable work. Responsible for managing, scheduling, editing, and producing proposals, opportunity‑related SOQs, project descriptions, resumes, and other marketing materials in accordance with Geosyntec’s policies, government regulations, and copyright laws. This work requires considerable initiative and independent judgment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate the development of new material and updates to existing material with marketing teams and practitioners.
Coordinate with practitioners to maintain master resumes, project descriptions, and imagery.
Assist with content for online presence, including social media, website, and email.
Draft content such as introductions, win themes, proof statements, relevant experience, project teams, and organizational charts.
Assist with the preparation and/or assembly of written and visual information for client presentations.
Help to produce SOQs and proposals, including editing and graphics; prepare for digital and/or print reproduction.
As directed, monitor sources of industry‑related market information; distribute potential leads to proposal and marketing teams.
Review, cull, and maintain select sources of industry‑related market information that support a proposal pursuit.
Gather research data related to clients, competitors, past, current, and prospective markets, and relevant corporate experience.
Assist in maintaining systems to extract, categorize, and retrieve information related to clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists.
Track and distribute event planning information to practitioners and research event attendees, and enter industry event information.
Maintain corporate memberships in industry and client organizations and key meeting calendars.
Assist with graphics concepts and development, writing/content, and proofreading.
Handle requested edits to marketing content such as press releases and article drafts.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, or an associate’s degree and 4 years of experience, or 6 years of marketing experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the responsibilities of the position. (required)
Demonstrated writing skills, including the ability to think critically and analytically about the purpose of the document and how the content might be improved. (required)
Formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail. (required)
Windows proficiency including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and typing ability. (required)
Familiarity with Illustrator and some graphic design experience. (preferred)
Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions. (required)
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workflow. (required)
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to perform effectively under tight deadlines. (required)
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
Compensation
Minimum Salary: $64,640/year; Maximum Salary: $90,495/year (Chicago, IL)
Minimum Salary: $70,795/year; Maximum Salary: $99,115/year (Acton, MA)
