Responsibilities
As a Digital Media Specialist, you’ll work closely and collaboratively with the marketing and sales team. This fun fast‑paced role will require multi‑tasking, the use of professional cameras, audio equipment, lighting and creativity to create engaging digital content.

Storyboard, capture, shoot, and edit engaging social media video content using professional cameras, audio equipment, lighting, and smartphones for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, Snapchat, TikTok, and emerging channels.

Copyrighting: Knowledge of AP style preferred.

Ability to create long‑form content for YouTube or short‑form, vertical video content optimized for Reels, TikTok, and Stories, balancing high production value with authentic, in‑the‑moment footage.

Adapt quickly during shoots—switching seamlessly between video and still photography as needed.

Provide social media coverage at events such as our yearly tool show and key races within our race program (NASCAR, IndyCar, NHRA).

Create social assets that are appropriate for specific channels and brand initiatives.

Work within established brand guidelines specific to intended style and tone.

With them in a genuine and authentic way.

Assist in overall management of Snap‑on social channels.

Ability to work and stay organized in a fast‑paced social marketing team.

Excellent time‑management and problem‑solving skills.

Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Travel as needed and work flexible hours to capture timely and relevant content.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or Communications.

2‑5 years of experience in videography.

Experience in creating video content and comfortable being in front of the camera if necessary, representing a brand (Instagram Reels and/or TikTok).

Knowledge of content creation from a social media point of view with a professional videographer eye.

Excellent eye for detail and an eye for design.

Adaptability and ability to work with a team to meet milestones and complete projects on time.

Solid understanding of brand identity, market trends and consumer behavior.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, PC & Mac Operating Systems.

Competencies

Excellent listening and interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain positive relationships.

Experience with creating videos and graphic designs.

Preferable with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.

Knowledge developing and testing new content ideas to engage our audiences. Experience in using a social media scheduling platform Hootsuite or similar. Any additional digital marketing experience is a plus!

Assist in additional tasks when assigned.
