Job Summary
THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE WILL PLAY A FUNDAMENTAL ROLE IN ACHIEVING OUR AMBITIOUS CUSTOMER ACQUISITION AND REVENUE GROWTH OBJECTIVES.
Role and Responsibilities
Source new opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails.
Understand customer needs and requirements.
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate executives for further development.
Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
Team with industry partners to build relationship and close deals.
Perform effective demos or assessments to prospects.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Associate's degree and equivalent industry experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
At least two years of related experience.
Required Skills
Proven inside sales experience
Track record of over-achieving quota
Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
