Business Development Professional (Intermediary Wealth Channels)
The firm is an $8 billion plus investment management firm headquartered in NYC with offices in Miami, London, and Frankfurt. With increasing interest from allocators in the asset class the firm specializes in more than $1 billion in gross sales firmwide last year and a strong long-term performance record, we are seeking to add an experienced intermediary sales professional to our wealth sales team.

Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Business Development Professional with an established track record in the NY metro area to join our entrepreneurial team focused on the wire house, independent broker dealer, and RIA channels in the greater NYC area. This individual will play a critical role in expanding our private wealth distribution footprint, leveraging deep relationships and market expertise to drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to raise capital, cultivate advisor relationships, open new relationships, and position sophisticated investment strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan to drive sales across major wealth management platforms through proactive prospecting, in-person meetings, and virtual engagements with financial advisors and RIA research teams.

Build deep knowledge of the firm’s strategies and articulate their value proposition across multiple platforms and RIAs, focusing on portfolio positioning, performance attribution, and forward-looking market opportunities.

Serve as a trusted resource for financial advisors, providing ongoing support, education, and client service to strengthen relationships and enhance advisor engagement.

Stay informed on industry trends, platform developments, and competitive dynamics to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.

Required Qualifications

10+ years in financial services or asset management, with a strong background in distribution through wire houses, independent RIAs, and wealth management platforms.

Demonstrated success in capital raising and new business development, including a proven sales process from prospecting to closing.

Broad understanding of capital markets; experience in fixed income and credit markets preferred.

Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of explaining complex investment strategies to diverse audiences.
