About the Role
The Company is in need of an experienced Interim Director of Procurement Transformation to provide hands-on leadership during a critical period of operational and strategic change. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization's procurement operating routines, program management infrastructure, and performance analytics to ensure continuity, discipline, and momentum across active initiatives. This role involves working closely with senior leadership to own the day-to-day execution of the procurement function, stabilizing operations, and advancing transformation priorities. Key responsibilities include managing procurement operating routines, acting as the interim process owner for the procurement project management platform, leading procurement analytics and reporting, and driving the adoption of digital procurement tools.
The ideal Interim Director will also be tasked with preparing executive-level materials, identifying and addressing process gaps, and supporting change management efforts. A small team will be under the interim leader's guidance, and they will be expected to provide clear direction, prioritization, and coaching during the transition period. The role requires a focus on embedding standardized ways of working, maintaining visibility into initiative progress, and enabling data-driven decision-making. At the conclusion of the engagement, the Interim Director will ensure a smooth handoff of processes, documentation, and insights to the permanent leadership.
