Mandatory Skillsets

Experience in Salesforce development and implementations Skills with good command on Apex, Visual force, controllers, triggers, batch processes, APIs and web services.
Best Practices understanding on Coding Standards, Deployment, Apex, VF, Salesforce Integration, Security implementations.
Writing Apex Classes, Visual Force Pages, Apex Triggers, Controllers to implement complex business requirements.
Experience in developing reusable UI Components with Aura and Lightning Component Frameworks
Good understanding of best practices of coding standards
Has experience in the Salesforce domain and have a deep understanding of the Salesforce sales Cloud & communities’ solutions.
Should be Salesforce Platform Certified – 1/2 Platform Developer certifications

Other Relevant Experience

Proficient in English communication
Experience working as part of a Scrum team practicing Agile development methodologies.

Duties/Responsibilities\n• Configure and support Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey\n• Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Mobile Connect (SMS)\n• Assist with SMS enablement, including short code acquisition support, keyword configuration, opt-in/opt-out management, and compliance alignment\n• Develop automated journeys, triggered sends, and scheduled communications across email and SMS\n• Build and maintain data extensions, SQL queries, and audience segmentation\n• Implement dynamic and personalized content using AMP script\n• Support integrations between Marketing Cloud and State of Maryland systems\n• Troubleshoot campaign, SMS, data, and automation issues\n• Follow State of Maryland governance, security, privacy, and approval processes\n• Produce basic technical documentation and support knowledge transfer\n• Adhere to all security, change control, and MHBE Project Management Office (PMO) policies, processes, and methodologies.\n• Note: The candidate must be flexible to work overtime as needed, including weekends, holidays, and off-hours.

Minimum Qualifications\n• Five (5) years of Salesforce experience in Marketing Cloud development\n• Three (3) years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development\n• Hands-on experience with AMP script and SQL in Marketing Cloud\n• Experience implementing or supporting SMS messaging, including consent management\n• Ability to work effectively in a staff augmentation role under state direction\n• Experience with Mobile Connect, SMS compliance, and short code provisioning processes\n• Experience supporting government agencies or health organizations\n• Knowledge of accessibility standards (c.g., WAG / Section 50g)\n• Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce\n• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant certification\n• Experience with Mobile Connect, SMS compliance, and short code provisioning processes\n• Experience supporting government agencies or health organizations\n• Knowledge of accessibility standards, e.g., WCAG / Section 508\n• Experience in integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM\n• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant certification\n• Familiarity with regulated or public-sector environments (PIl, compliance, security)
