Overview A wellestablished company in Lake Worth is seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist to join their accounting team. This role is responsible for managing customer credit accounts, overseeing collections activity, and supporting cash flow through timely followup and resolution of outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, including credit reviews and collections activity

Monitor aging reports and follow up on pastdue balances via phone and email

Research and resolve billing discrepancies, unapplied cash, short pays, and disputes

Work with customers to establish payment plans and resolve credit issues

Apply payments and assist with cash application as needed

Maintain accurate documentation and collection notes in the system

Partner with Sales and Accounting to resolve account issues and minimize risk

Assist with credit approvals and account setup for new customers

Escalate highrisk or severely delinquent accounts when appropriate

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in credit and/or collections

Strong understanding of accounts receivable and aging

Professional, firm, and customerfriendly communication style

Experience resolving disputes and working with highvolume accounts

Proficient with accounting systems and Excel

Detailoriented with strong followup and organizational skills

Pay Details:

$50,000.00 to $58,000.00 per year
