Secondary Marketing Specialist
in
Houston (onsite). Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Secondary Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing the sales and delivery of mortgage loans in the secondary market while ensuring compliance with investor guidelines and regulatory requirements. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams to optimize loan sale strategies and maintain strong investor relations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Execute and manage loan sales to secondary market investors
Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate and timely records
Process lock requests in Mortgagebot and FNMA as applicable
Deliver loans to FNMA, and promptly send Purchase Advice to Accounting
Update and distribute rate sheets to Retail and TPO clients
Monitor bond market trends to inform rate adjustments throughout the day
Maintain a strong working knowledge of Optimal Blue and its locking process
Analyze investor rate sheets daily to determine optimal loan placement upon lock
Stay up to date on investor guidelines to ensure valid locks
Prepare and submit new investor approval packages
Create and manage loan products within MortgageBot as needed
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Minimum 2 years of mortgage lending experience
Secondary marketing experience required
Ability to adapt quickly to business and operational changes withoI would lut performance decline
Flexibility in work schedule
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook especially)
Experience with Mortgagebot LOS is a plus
EXPERIENCE:
College Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
