Position Summary
Join a team dedicated to every student's success. As an Athletic Director, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical development of our students in grades 4-8, with the exciting opportunity to help expand our athletics program to our primary school. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to solidify and grow our already strong athletics department. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year.
Employment Classification: This is a 12-month, full-time, exempt position.
Work Schedule: The Athletic Director's schedule will include regular evening and weekend hours during athletic seasons and for facility rentals, with some variability based on game and event schedules.
Responsibilities
Athletics Schedule and monitor school athletic activities Coordinate the ordering andmaintainingof uniforms and athletic equipment Prepare and update ina timelyfashion a master online athletics calendar Seekand recommend off-season camps and training activities for student-athletes where suitable Work with the coaching staff to plan, schedule, communicate, andmonitorall athletic transportation activities Hire all officials for home games andassistin supervision at home athletic contests Secure volunteers for athletic contests, including announcers, clock operators, scorekeepers, trainers, etc. Recruit, train, and support coaches in the Holy Trinity approach to athletics Act as a resource person and coordinator for all coaches Address any parent concerns beyond the coaching staff Coordinate summer activities Coordinate with Extended Day Director for sports enrichment programs Local travel with teams when necessary Must coach at least one season Be available for evening and weekend responsibilities as required by athletic contests, practices, and facility rentals, recognizing that the Athletic Director role follows the rhythm of the athletic and events calendar rather than a traditional school day schedule Be willing to accept other duties as assigned in keeping with overall duties Facilities Rentals
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the Athletic Director will also oversee the School's facility rental program. Key responsibilities include:
Manage the intake and follow-up process for the facility rental interest form, ensuringtimelyand professional communication with all prospective renters Proactivelysolicitappropriate rentalbusiness that aligns with Holy Trinity's mission and values, with an eye toward building long-term partnerships Respond promptly and courteously to email inquiries related to facility rentals, providingaccurateinformation about availability, pricing, and policies Coordinate and oversee the processing of rental payments and deposits in collaboration with the Business Office, ensuringaccuraterecord-keeping and adherence to School policies Draft, issue, andmaintainfacility rental contracts, ensuring all terms are clearly communicated and properly executed Coordinate and schedule any staff needed to support facility rentals (such as supervision, custodial support, or security) and serve as the primary point of contact during events as appropriate Verify that all renters haveappropriate insurancecoverage andrequireddocumentation in place prior to facility use Maintain and update the facility rentals calendar to avoid conflicts and to ensure clear communication with internal and external stakeholders Use the facility rental program as a strategic opportunity to increase the visibility and positive reputation of Holy Trinity in the broader community,showcasingour programs, people, and campus Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in athletic administration or related field Willingness to work collaboratively with administration, faculty, and parents Eagerness to embrace the mission and values of Holy Trinity and our connection to the Episcopal Church Commitment to equity and inclusion and have experience working with a diverse student population Genuine enthusiasm, personal warmth, and high energy level Current CPR certification Preferred
Master's degree Experience working in an independent school setting Previousrelevant experience in an educational setting
