Position Summary
The Business Development team at VIZIO is looking for a Director of Strategic Account Management to join our team. In this role, you will lead the Partnership and Project Management organization within the Business Development team in providing third‑party app account management pre and post‑deal close, including on‑boarding, app usage insights, securing offers and trials, and revenue optimization. You and your team will act as a conduit between business and technical teams to ensure clear communication of priorities and challenges. You’ll be a trusted advisor to ensure partners’ confidence in VIZIO OS and our ability to deliver best‑in‑class products and experiences. Business Development connects VIZIO’s platform strategy to the partners and products that deliver value for customers and the business. We operate cross‑functionally, working closely with engineering, finance, marketing, analytics, and product to launch new initiatives, improve partner experiences, and scale repeatable ways of working. This role is central to aligning stakeholders, strengthening partner trust, and ensuring our most important partnerships deliver measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own executive relationships with VIZIO app/content partners, leading QBRs, performance reviews, and strategic planning.
- Drive partner onboarding and ongoing engagement, identifying pain points and resolving complex escalations.
- Build joint business plans and revenue forecasts using partner and platform metrics.
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives, tracking timelines, deliverables, and on‑time launches for new lines of business.
- Influence product roadmaps by translating partner needs into clear requirements and value cases.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in strategic account management, partnerships, or business development in technology, media, or entertainment ecosystems.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi‑stakeholder negotiations and long‑term commercial agreements.
- Strong analytical fluency: forecasting, KPI storytelling, and using data models to guide decisions.
- Track record of driving cross‑functional execution (engineering, finance, marketing, analytics) and delivering launches on time.
- Expertise building scalable partner communication frameworks, proposals, and executive‑ready presentations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, business, marketing and sales, healthcare, or related area and 5 years’ experience in business management, marketing and sales, healthcare, omni channel merchandising, or related area.
- Option 2: 7 years’ experience in business management, marketing and sales, healthcare, omni channel merchandising, or related area.
- 3 years’ experience in a leadership role in the healthcare sector.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 years’ experience in sales.
- Leading cross‑functional teams.
- Master’s degree in business, marketing and sales, healthcare, or related area.
