Bohemia Manor Farm Resort is a luxury hotel and winery, the premier destination for events and accommodations near the Chesapeake Bay. Bohemia Manor Farm Resort is seeking a Food & Beverage Director to join our team of professionals in a revenue-driven role with the ability to create and manage special events, entertainment, and food and wine festivals. Reporting to the resort manager, our Food & Beverage Director supervises the seamless and profitable operation of all food service facilities and events, in addition to the oversight of our tasting room, restaurant, beach bar, and banquets . This role is vital to the success of the resort as much of our volume includes catering with an emphasis on weddings. A background in luxury F&B management and supervision of catering operations & execution is essential. Our F&B Director manages all personnel in the Food and Beverage Department and is responsible for all financial, operational, and development areas. This position is not a stepping-stone but rather a destination for a 5-Star Food & Beverage authority.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Promote and portray the VIVÂMEE Values
  • Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with health regulations
  • Address and resolve guest complaints related to food, beverages, or service promptly and professionally
  • Work with the management team to improve guest satisfaction
  • Oversee food and beverage inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and controlling food and beverage supplies
  • Conduct regular audits to manage costs effectively and prevent loss
  • Manage the weekly staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage and optimal operational efficiency
  • Assist Catering Manager in planning and execution of events, weddings, social, and corporate events when turned over from Sales Team
  • Plan and execute Internal Events with GM based on Programming Calendar
  • Meet with department heads monthly to plan social media/photo needs
  • Consistently gather and provide property content to the Social Media Manager
  • Other duties as required

Successful Candidates Must Have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or marketing preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of Food & Beverage management experience in hotels/resorts
  • Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential, sharp negotiation and networking skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of Hospitality industry trends and best practices
  • Familiarity with relevant software for event planning and management
  • Proven record of sales growth
  • Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field
  • Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Experience in managing sales or marketing teams
