About the Role
We’re seeking a Director, Tax Reporting to lead the company’s global tax provision and federal tax compliance processes. This leader will manage quarterly and annual tax reporting, oversee internal and external deadlines, partner closely with finance stakeholders, and guide a growing tax team.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct quarterly and annual tax provision processes, including review, disclosures, and analytics
- Provide technical guidance on ASC 740 and federal income tax issues
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Oversee federal tax return filings, including review of required forms and schedules
- Collaborate across finance, external advisors, and auditors
- Support business transactions and tax-related initiatives
- Lead federal audit responses and manage ongoing audit activity
- Build project plans to meet all tax and financial reporting deadlines
- Mentor, coach, and develop tax team members
- Identify and implement process efficiencies and automation opportunities
Qualifications
Required:
- 7+ years of tax experience, corporate or public accounting, with heavy ASC 740 exposure
- 4+ years leading federal return preparation and review
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Ability to research and document complex tax issues
- Prior experience managing and developing staff
Preferred:
- Experience with enterprise tax systems (e.g., Hyperion, OneSource)
- Advanced degree (Master’s or similar)
- CPA
