*SUMMER* Charter Boat Captain
MASSACHUSETTS MARITIME ACADEMY, Quincy, MA, United States
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 50’ charter vessel for charters around Boston Harbor
- Adhere to all local and federal regulations
- Manage subordinate crew members
- Provide strong and positive customer service to guests
- Perform routine vessel maintenance and cleaning
- Maintain appropriate vessel logs
Qualifications
- USCG 50 Ton Master license
- Previous experience in Boston Harbor and tributary waterways
- Prior experience as a Captain
- Strong boat-handling skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- FCC MROP certification
- Previous passenger vessel experience
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Diesel engine and mechanical skills
All candidates must pass a USCG/DOT drug test and enroll in the company’s random drug testing program.
