Director of Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial activities of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize profitability and ensure cost control.
• Monitor financial performance by analyzing variances and preparing reports for executive management.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Lead the finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with operational departments to optimize revenue streams and improve financial processes.
• Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.
• Support strategic planning and decision-making processes with financial insights and analysis.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Proven experience in financial management within the hospitality industry, ideally in a hotel setting.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and cost control.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
