As Platform Finance Director, you are one of the most critical leaders at our Hyundai/Genesis dealership in Irving, Texas. You are responsible for delivering an exceptional ownership experience to every guest through unwavering ethics, deep expertise across Prime, Mid-Prime, and Sub-Prime lending, and a proven track record in automotive finance leadership. What you'll do
- Present and sell all F&I back-end products via a structured menu (Vehicle Service Contracts, GAP coverage, Paint/Fabric Protection, and other ancillary products)
- Oversee and manage Contracts in Transit on a daily basis to ensure timely funding
- Leverage prior experience with credit-challenged Sub-Prime auto lending and a comprehensive understanding of the Sub-Prime automotive business
- Demonstrate resilience and expertise in working with lenders specializing in non-prime and Sub-Prime credit profiles
- Maintain strict attention to detail, collecting all stipulations and documentation required for Sub-Prime credit files
- Manage transactions from A to Z: from initial lead inquiry through vehicle delivery and loan funding
- Model patience and professionalism while working with credit-challenged guests
- Serve as a platform-level resource, supporting finance operations and best practices across the Hyundai/Genesis brand
What you'll need
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of Sub-Prime lending experience in a Special Finance Manager or Director-level role
- Demonstrated ability to effectively rehash and structure deals across Prime, Mid-Prime, and Sub-Prime lender tiers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Exceptional organizational skills and follow-up discipline
- Strong leadership capabilities in both team-based and independent environments
