This grant allows an afterschool program for our students which includes tutoring, learning activity centers, field trips, and student interest-based workshops and clubs. The program allows for the building to be open Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm during the school year and Monday through Thursday from 8am to 1pm starting July 6, 2026 to July 30, 2026.

Program Director

• Management and coordination of the program, including the creation of policies, procedures, protocols, handbooks, etc.
• Completing the required reporting, attending required state meetings, and communicating with Program Evaluator and Department of Education
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including hours 8:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday through Thursday
• Evaluating program staff and communicating with school day staff to monitor student progress
• Coordinating outside activities, speakers, and programs for our students to align with grant objectives
• Fostering relationships with outside organizations and programs
• Maintain student registration paperwork and information matrix
• Meeting all requirements of the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant (Federal)
• Oversee all curriculum and activities for the program
• Candidate needs to be an NJ certified teacher/Supervisory certification preferred

$50/hour (not to exceed $5,000 for the summer program)
