As an Executive Director , you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned hospice program/site.

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, direct and evaluate services of hospice
  • Manage the program under the direction of the governing body within the established goals, objectives, and policies of the organization
  • Direct, supervise and evaluate hospice personnel and volunteers
  • Coordinate services of all team members of the interdisciplinary team
  • Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, laws, policies and procedures applicable to the program

Qualifications

  • Licensed physician, licensed registered nurse, a social worker with a Master’s Degree or a college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Three years of documented management experience in health care service
  • Be familiar with federal, state and accreditation regulations and maintain them in an agency.
  • Knowledge of product and service purchasing policies and practices
  • Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of contractual terminology
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • General computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be a highly ethical, self‑motivated team player
