As an Executive Director , you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned hospice program/site.
Job Duties
- Plan, organize, direct and evaluate services of hospice
- Manage the program under the direction of the governing body within the established goals, objectives, and policies of the organization
- Direct, supervise and evaluate hospice personnel and volunteers
- Coordinate services of all team members of the interdisciplinary team
- Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, laws, policies and procedures applicable to the program
Qualifications
- Licensed physician, licensed registered nurse, a social worker with a Master’s Degree or a college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Three years of documented management experience in health care service
- Be familiar with federal, state and accreditation regulations and maintain them in an agency.
- Knowledge of product and service purchasing policies and practices
- Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of contractual terminology
- Strong negotiation skills
- General computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be a highly ethical, self‑motivated team player
