Director Manufacturing & Supply Chain

Overview

BioTalent is hiring a Director of Supply Chain & Manufacturing for a Class II Medical Device company in Southern California. This role will lead end-to-end operations across planning, sourcing, supplier strategy, inventory, logistics, and production coordination for an electromechanical hardware platform. This role partners closely with engineering, product, and commercial leadership to support new product introductions, strengthen supply continuity, and scale manufacturing infrastructure as the organization grows. The position is fully onsite and best suited for someone experienced supporting regulated hardware environments and building supply chain systems around commercialization readiness.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in an engineering, technical operations, supply chain, or closely related field
• Approximately 6+ years of experience supporting manufacturing and materials operations for hardware or electromechanical product environments
• Medical Device experience is preferred
• Exposure to organizations operating under regulated product development or quality frameworks preferred
• Working experience with enterprise planning platforms (e.g., ERP/MRP) and structured production coordination processes
• Track record strengthening vendor execution, improving operational throughput, and supporting reliable component availability in growing organizations
• Ability to partner effectively across technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders in dynamic, cross-functional settings
• Willingness to travel periodically to external manufacturing sites, suppliers, or integration partners as needed
