Dylan's House is dedicated to empowering individuals on the autism spectrum as they transition from adolescence to adulthood. We provide education, support, and resources to improve the quality of life for these individuals and their families. With a focus on independence, we aim to create housing opportunities for autistic individuals and raise funds to sustain caregivers through a targeted grant program. Our mission is rooted in awareness, support, and building a brighter future for the autism community.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Youngstown-Warren area. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, fundraising initiatives, and strategic planning to advance Dylan’s House's mission. Key responsibilities include managing staff, fostering relationships with donors and stakeholders, implementing programs, developing budgets, and ensuring organizational compliance with regulations and policies. The Executive Director will serve as the face of the organization, advocating for its mission and representing it in the community.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management skills, including experience overseeing teams, budgets, and organizational strategy
• Fundraising and donor relations expertise, with a proven ability to secure funding and build partnerships
• Strong organizational and planning abilities to oversee programs, events, and daily operations
• Exceptional communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders, including families, donors, and the community
• Understanding of autism, special needs advocacy, or experience working with similar populations is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Ability to work on site and collaborate effectively with staff, volunteers, and community members in the Youngstown-Warren area
