What You'll Do
As a key member of the Operations & Supply Chain team you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes.
We are seeking a strategic and globally minded Sr. Director of Supply Chain & EGX to lead global demand and supply planning processes across our medical device portfolio. This role will own and elevate our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) frameworks, transforming them into best-in-class capabilities that enable cross-functional alignment, operational resilience, and scalable growth across regions.

Key Responsibilities
The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need.
Global Supply Chain Leadership
Lead the global supply chain strategy across the United States and France.
Manage teams and align site-based supply chain operations to a unified global vision.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for cost, service, and efficiency.
Integrated Planning Strategy
Lead a best-in-class global SIOP / IBP process aligned with commercial, manufacturing, and finance stakeholders.
Drive strategic alignment between global demand, supply, and financial plans.
Develop long-term capacity and scenario planning models to support growth, launches, and risk management.
Demand Planning
Create and execute a demand planning strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives, including setting targets for forecast accuracy and customer service levels.
Develop and implement a robust demand forecasting process, techniques and models leveraging historical data, market trend and customer insights to accurately predict future demand and to improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness to market changes.
Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy, bias reduction, and planning cycle efficiency.
Supply & Production Planning
Translate demand forecasts into regional and global supply plans considering capacity, lead times, and inventory policies.
Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics teams to optimize capacity, lead times, and inventory levels.
Develop global production allocation and supply plans across internal and contract manufacturing sites.
Mitigate supply risks through proactive planning and buffer strategies.
SIOP / IBP Management
Own the business unit monthly Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) cycle, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, finance, and executive leadership.
Mentor the team that generates executive reviews with scenario modeling and trade-off recommendations.
Analytics, Systems & Process Improvement
Develop planning dashboards, KPIs, and metrics to monitor performance and support decision-making.
Lead or support system implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement projects.
Team Leadership and Development
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global planning team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Develop team capabilities through coaching, structured training, and career development plans, aligned with organizational goals and talent needs.
Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations across supply and demand planning.
Identify and close skill and capability gaps within the team related to supply chain tools, data analytics, and business acumen.
Promote cross-training and knowledge sharing to increase bench strength, reduce key-person risk, and improve planning agility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and Operations to gather relevant data, align on demand forecast, and ensure seamless communication throughout the demand planning process.
Lead executive-level reviews to communicate planning scenarios, trade-offs, and recommendations across Operations, Finance, and Commercial leadership
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory functions to ensure supply plans support production readiness and compliance requirements.
Risk Management
Develop strategies and tools to address demand variability and incorporate risk management measures into demand planning process.
Identify and manage supply-side risks through dual sourcing, strategic safety stock, and supplier diversification plans for critical components and SKUs.
Lead scenario planning and "what-if" analysis to evaluate supply continuity risks under varying demand, capacity, and market conditions.
Establish an early warning system using KPIs and predictive analytics to proactively address risks to supply, inventory, or service levels.
Performance Metrics
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across demand accuracy and supply plan adherence.
Own accountability for forecast accuracy at multiple levels (SKU, product family), working closely with Commercial and Finance teams to improve inputs and alignment.
Track supply plan attainment, highlighting root causes of variances and leading corrective action planning.
Stakeholder Communication
Regularly communicate demand forecast, insights and supply planning recommendations to senior leadership and other relevant stakeholders.
Translate supply chain data into actionable insights and updates for Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
Communicate planning assumptions, risks, and trade-offs clearly to executive leadership, enabling timely, data-driven decisions.
Market Analysis
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to proactively adapt demand planning strategies.
Conduct gap analysis between market projections and actual demand and drive course correction through the S&OP/IBP process.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain & Logistics, Business or a related subject area. MBA is a plus.
10+ years of supply chain experience, including at least 2 years in global leadership.
Track record of building agile, scalable, and resilient global supply chain networks.
Demonstrated success in cost transformation, digitalization, and sustainability initiatives.
Familiar with FDA (21 CFR Part 820), EU MDR, ISO 13485, and GxP requirements globally.
Deep understanding of medical device, life sciences, or other FDA-regulated manufacturing.
Experience leading global SIOP/IBP and forecasting across multi-site operations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Expertise with enterprise systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and digital supply chain tools.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
Ability to tug, pull, or lift up to twenty (25) pounds.
Process Excellence (Lean/Six-Sigma) and or APICS experience and certification strongly desired.
Ability to lead in a matrixed, multicultural environment across time zones and regions.
Excellent strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and communication skills.
Previous work experience should demonstrate good interpersonal skills, self-motivation, flexibility, detail-oriented work style, professional appearance and attitude, and ability to effectively communicate with customers/clients at all levels.
