Senior Director System Pharmacy Operations

Job Summary

Maintains responsibility and accountability for provision of pharmaceutical care and services that meet the needs of patients, employees, and medical staff. Provides leadership and manage all aspects of departmental operations consistent with the corporate, division and departmental mission statement and values.

Qualifications

• Current NC pharmacist licensure is required plus a Master’s or PharmD degree, pharmacy resident or equivalent post - pharmacy educational and management experience.
• Requires at least five years of increasingly responsible health care systems pharmacy supervisory experience and thorough knowledge of health systems pharmacy practice including clinical, operational and technological applications.
• Considerable written and oral communication skills and computer literacy is required.
• Must have the ability to lead, manage and motivate people as well as deal tactfully with patients and their families, physicians and department heads.
