Director of Supply Chain - Build To Rent

Job Overview

David Weekley Homes is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead their Build To Rent (BTR) Division: Integrity Community Builders (ICB). The Director will lead and manage the BTR Supply Chain Team to ensure the most cost‑effective and highest‑quality resources are available. They will accomplish this by working closely with local purchasing and construction teams and competitively bidding all construction categories for each BTR project.

Responsibilities

• Accurately develop sales‑related National BTR Plan Lineup hard‑cost budgets and proformas for key cities.
• Create strategies to continually improve cost positions within various markets.
• Provide cost and details for investor price requests.
• Participate in feature reviews with BTR Operations teams, present new products for consideration, update related documents, and communicate any changes.
• Assemble and direct the project bid process.
• Schedule the process from request for proposal (RFP) setup through contract agreement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain/purchasing within the multi‑family and/or single‑family new‑home construction industry.
• 6+ years of people leadership and management experience, including recruiting, hiring, training, and managing a team of direct reports.

Additional Information

Multi‑day travel at least once a month throughout the region.
