
Vice President of Asset Management

Evergen Equity is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Asset Management to join our real estate investment firm. As a Vice President of Asset Management, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our real estate investments and maximizing the value of our commercial real estate portfolio. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company with exposure to various property types, asset classes, and ownership structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly manage and mentor the Asset Management team to ensure professional growth and high performance.
- Oversee the standardizing of reporting, analysis, and property management processes across the entire portfolio.
- Develop and execute long-term asset management strategies for both joint venture and direct investments.
- Monitor and analyze property performance to identify opportunities and risks.
- Lead major value-add initiatives, repositioning strategies, and redevelopment opportunities.
Financial Oversight & Investor Relations
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to internal and external stakeholders, communicating property performance.
- Review and approve annual property budgets and forecasts, ensuring they align with the firm's broader investment objectives.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the company leadership regarding acquisitions, leasing, and dispositions.
Reporting, Communication, and Relationship Management
- Cultivate, maintain strong relationships, and act as liaison with tenants, key vendors, joint venture partners, and other stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams to ensure seamless transition between business plan inflection points.
- Address inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Risk
- Identify and mitigate systemic risks within the portfolio, including regulatory changes and market shifts.
- Act as the primary liaison for property-level insurance and manage operational risk in coordination with company leadership.
Other
- Additional ad-hoc projects and requests as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate asset management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team management role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in Real Estate or Finance preferred.
