About the Role

Directs the daily operations of a department(s).

Responsibilities

  • Develops specific departmental goals, standards and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
  • Develops departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
  • Directs special projects and business analyses.
  • Develops short and long term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with two of those years in leadership/management; or an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with two of those years in leadership/management.

Additional Preferences

  • Remote position with weekly regional travel to Ascension Living facilities in Illinois, Wisconsin and Kansas.
  • Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Illinois, Kansas or Wisconsin.
