About The Role
You will be at the intersection of a "Big Bank" scale and "Startup" speed. Paze is a pivotal shift in how the industry handles digital identity and payments. You’ll have the autonomy to shape that future while enjoying the scale and stability of a founder‑led Fortune 100 company.
As the General Manager for Paze , you will lead Capital One’s strategic involvement in the next frontier of digital commerce. Paze is a first‑of‑its‑kind eCommerce wallet launched in partnership with Early Warning Services (EWS) and other major financial institutions.
This is a high‑stakes, high‑visibility role where you act as the primary bridge between Capital One and the EWS consortium. You are not just managing a product; you are managing a business ecosystem. You will be the primary lead for Paze with EWS, driving internal platform integrations, and ensuring Capital One customers have a seamless, secure, and industry‑leading checkout experience. In addition you will be leading and managing a high‑performing team of Product Managers and overseeing Delivery and GTM.

Basic Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
- A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years in Product Management, with significant experience in FinTech, Payments, or eCommerce Wallets.
- Experience managing complex, multi‑party partnerships
- Experience managing and growing a team of PMs in an Agile environment
- Experience working with executive leadership on Risk and Legal functions
- Experience with APIs, authentication protocols, and the mechanics of digital payment rails.
Salary and Benefits
- McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000 for Director, Product Management
- New York, NY: $251,400 - $286,900 for Director, Product Management
- Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
