Job Title
Life Enrichment Coordinator — Grand Meadows Senior Living & Health Care Center
Overview
As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and implement a program of activities and leisure pursuits for residents in alignment with the resident care plan, addressing social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational, and physical needs.
Qualifications
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Accreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area; licensed or registered nationally or by the state of practice
- Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting
- Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, including at least one full year in a resident activities program in a health care setting
- Professional image in appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
