As a Vice President, you will be a key driver of deal execution and portfolio value creation. You’ll lead workstreams across the full lifecycle of private equity transactions - from early-stage evaluation and diligence through structuring, negotiation, and post-close operational initiatives.
The role offers meaningful autonomy, direct interaction with partners, and a clear path to long-term leadership within a fund that is actively raising and deploying capital.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead transaction execution across sourcing, diligence, structuring, and closing
- Oversee complex financial modeling, valuation workstreams, and investment theses
- Manage commercial, financial, operational, and legal diligence processes
- Drive preparation of investment committee materials, memos, and decision frameworks
- Partner with management teams to implement value-creation initiatives post-close
- Mentor junior team members and support their development
- Coordinate with advisors, lenders, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Support ongoing portfolio monitoring, board materials, and strategic reviews
Candidate Profile
4–10 years of total experience , including:
- Investment Banking (M&A, Industrials, Sponsors) and/or
- Private Equity (Senior Associate or VP level)
Required attributes:
- Strong execution track record across buy-side or sell-side transactions
- Mastery of financial modeling, deal structuring, and analytical problem-solving
- Demonstrated experience managing diligence workstreams and external advisors
- Ability to interface confidently with management teams and senior investors
- Exceptional communication skills, project management ability, and attention to detail
- Strong ties to Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia (personal or professional preferred)
