Role
- Define and lead system-level and software architecture for hyperscale environments, partnering closely with hardware teams to ensure cohesive platform design
- Collaborate with customers and ecosystem partners to capture workload requirements and ensure strong alignment across performance, functionality, and deployment needs
- Guide the development of end-to-end system software stacks, including firmware, operating systems, virtualization layers, and application enablement
- Drive ecosystem engagement and industry alignment, contributing to standards efforts and influencing external software development communities
- Partner with performance and engineering teams to optimize system efficiency, resolve bottlenecks, and support next-generation technologies such as CXL, networking, and accelerator integration
Qualifications
- Experience defining requirements for x86 or ARM servers for hyperscalers
- Strong experience defining and supporting server architectures for hyperscaler environments, including core requirements such as RAS, telemetry, manageability, and I/O optimization
- Deep understanding of system and CPU architecture, with the ability to bridge hardware and software design considerations
- Proven background in low-level systems programming (C) within complex operating systems such as Linux or BSD, particularly in multi-core, multi-threaded environments
- Familiarity with modern data center ecosystems, including PCIe, firmware interfaces (ACPI/UEFI), and scalable Linux distributions
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with experience driving technical roadmaps, writing architecture specifications, and leading cross-functional projects
