A leading insurtech firm in New York is seeking a Head of Underwriting to shape its underwriting strategy and risk appetite. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of habitational/CRE property underwriting experience with a focus on building shared and layered programs. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the founders on a technology-enabled platform and to manage significant carrier relationships. Candidates should be based in NYC or willing to relocate within 6–12 months.
