Overview

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Storage Specialist Solutions Architect to join our Auto & Manufacturing (AutoMFG) team.

We dive deep to understand each customer's unique challenges, then craft innovative solutions that accelerate their success.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert on AWS storage services for our Account teams and customers.
• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
• Deploy storage and data strategies with technical depth and business experience.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.
• Partner with Sales Specialist teams to define the technical components of best‑in‑class go‑to‑market concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure.
• 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas such as storage, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, networking, or data protection.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud architecture.
• Experience in technology/software sales, pre‑sales, or consulting.
• Experience working with enterprise‑scale storage systems.
• Experience with Block, Object, and File Storage Technologies.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers.
