
Director, Global Market Access Heme-Onc

The Global Market Access asset/brand lead, reporting to the Sr. Dir. Global Market Access Oncology lead, will develop and drive the Market Access strategy for the assigned asset(s)/brand(s) aligned with the global brand(s) strategy. The role provides strategic market access leadership at the brand level, representing market access within asset/brand teams, commercial sub-teams, and global strategy teams, building relationships and effective collaboration within the matrix. The lead will shape strategic decisions through contributions to clinical development and integrated evidence generation plans, ensuring that strategic plans meet the needs of market access in key countries (US and international markets). They will also lead the development of brand value propositions and collaborate with Pricing, HEOR, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Policy to support timely, optimal reimbursement across diverse geographies.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Drive the brand Market Access team, including core global functions (Pricing, HEOR, Policy), to deliver the global market access strategy & key value communication tools for the brand.
- Plan and implement payer value generation and access strategies to accelerate market entry.
- Serve as the leading resource on access strategies and actively participate in the commercial sub-team, SPT, and other disease area strategy groups.
- Integrate pricing, payer research, health economics, and epidemiology information to develop the optimal value strategy.
- Coordinate with US and international Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and Marketing teams to develop real‑world evidence for access programs.
- Develop an integrated access strategy that reflects macro (health care reform, quality metrics, technology assessment) and disease‑specific factors (clinical profile, market segmentation, disease staging, clinical pathway) as well as the complexity of precision medicine.
- Partner with Global Pipeline/Early assets Market Access team to gather critical insights, advise on patient populations, trial design, endpoint selection, and ensure quality implementation of study protocols, case report forms, monitoring protocols, statistical analysis plans, etc.
Qualifications
- Track record of building productive relationships with internal partners.
- Demonstrated initiative, critical thinking, and ability to work effectively in complex, evolving environments.
- Strong project and process management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Experience leading matrix teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication globally.
To be considered for this role, you should hold a Ph.D., Pharm D, MD, or M.Sc. in Epidemiology, Health Economics, Public Health, or Health Policy, and possess at least 12 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on Epidemiology, Health Economics, Payer Access, and at least 5 years in a reimbursement environment for key international markets. Experience in multiple therapy areas, including Oncology, and previous Market Access Lead experience with intense payer negotiation is required. Onsite presence of 4 days a week in the office is required.

Salary Range (annually): $183,100.00 - $305,200.00
