Compensation: $170k - $210k base + performance bonus + equity

We are open to adjusting scope and leveling for an exceptional candidate with either more or less experience or demonstrated ability to scale DTC revenue.

The Role

We’re hiring a Head of Performance & Growth to own and scale Asset’s revenue engine.

Our goal for this role is to grow revenue from a few million to many tens of millions and beyond. We have foundational performance and creative systems already in place. Your mandate is to evolve, refine, and scale them into a best-in-class growth engine capable of supporting meaningful multi-year expansion.

This is a true player–coach role.

While owning our full-funnel growth strategy, you will also spend a portion of your time operating directly in the creative system — writing hooks, reviewing ads, directing UGC, and driving structured testing cycles.

In the near term, you are not managing a large team. You are leading from the front — executing hands‑on while building scalable systems. As revenue scales, you will define when and how to build the growth team beneath you.

You will serve as the growth owner — accountable for turning disciplined experimentation across creative, offers, and funnel into durable revenue expansion.

This role has a clear path to VP of Growth as the company reaches the next stage of scale.

What You’ll Do

Own and Scale the Revenue Engine

  • Evolve and scale our paid acquisition strategy across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, and emerging channels
  • Improve blended CAC, contribution margin, and new customer revenue
  • Develop and manage structured experimentation roadmaps across creative, offers, pricing, and funnel
  • Translate performance data into clear capital allocation decisions

Refine & Expand the Performance Creative System

  • Refine and scale structured creative testing frameworks (hooks, formats, messaging, angles)
  • Increase creative output and testing velocity through process and AI-assisted workflows
  • Lead weekly performance reviews and structured iteration cycles
  • Write hooks, scripts, and ad copy when necessary
  • Manage and direct UGC creators, editors, and designers

Own Offer Architecture & Conversion Optimization

  • Design and test bundles, subscription incentives, pricing strategies, and promotional architecture
  • Lead landing page and PDP testing roadmaps
  • Improve CVR, AOV, and retention-driving acquisition mechanics
  • Identify structural leverage points across the funnel

Expand & Diversify Channels

  • Develop channel expansion roadmap beyond Meta
  • Test and scale new channels with disciplined frameworks
  • Evaluate incrementality and attribution nuance across channels

Build Growth Infrastructure

  • Improve performance dashboards and reporting systems
  • Strengthen testing documentation, workflows, and SOPs
  • Contribute to forecasting and long-range growth planning
  • Help define the timing and structure of future growth hires

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience scaling a DTC brand from early/significant traction to $25M+ annual revenue (or equivalent growth trajectory)
  • 7–12+ years across growth, performance marketing, and performance creative leadership
  • Proven ability to operate as a hands-on player–coach in lean environments
  • Deep understanding of creative testing architecture and performance leverage
  • Experience improving CAC efficiency through structured experimentation
  • Experience leading offer architecture and landing page testing
  • Strong performance literacy — you understand blended impact, not just channel ROAS
  • Experience managing paid media budgets in high-growth environments
  • Comfort working without large teams while building toward scale
  • Comfort leveraging AI tools to accelerate scripting, testing, and analysis
  • Experience in DTC strongly preferred
  • Experience in regulated or constrained categories is a major plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
