Overview
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Growth is responsible for driving end-to-end revenue growth across the full customer lifecycle—from acquisition and conversion to retention and expansion. This role leads all growth initiatives for a cybersecurity, network, and endpoint protection company such as RealDefense, with a strong emphasis on scalable SaaS business models, subscription billing optimization, and data-driven experimentation.
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in SaaS growth strategy, billing infrastructure, and advanced testing methodologies with hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to optimize conversion and customer lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition & Conversion Optimization
- Own the full acquisition funnel across paid, organic, affiliate, and partner channels.
- Drive best-in-class conversion rate optimization (CRO) through rigorous A/B and multi-variate testing frameworks.
- Leverage AI-driven tools and platforms to enhance lead scoring, personalization, and conversion optimization.
- Continuously test and optimize landing pages, pricing flows, checkout experiences, and onboarding funnels.
Billing, Monetization & Subscription Strategy
- Lead strategy and optimization of subscription billing platforms, payment flows, and recurring revenue systems.
- Drive improvements in authorization rates, payment recovery (dunning), and global payment acceptance.
- Partner with Finance and Product teams to refine pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies.
- Ensure seamless billing experiences that reduce friction and increase conversion and retention.
Customer Retention & Lifecycle Growth
- Develop lifecycle marketing strategies to maximize retention, engagement, and lifetime value (LTV).
- Reduce churn through data-driven segmentation, behavioral insights, and targeted interventions.
- Optimize upsell, cross-sell, and renewal strategies across the customer journey.
- Implement AI-powered engagement strategies to personalize user experiences at scale.
- Build and scale a culture of experimentation grounded in data and continuous optimization.
- Establish KPIs across CAC, LTV, churn, ARPU, and funnel conversion metrics.
- Utilize advanced attribution models and analytics tools to inform investment decisions.
- Lead cross-functional testing roadmaps with clear hypotheses, measurement, and iteration cycles.
- Identify and deploy AI tools that improve marketing efficiency, customer acquisition, and conversion rates.
- Integrate AI into personalization, campaign optimization, predictive churn modeling, and revenue forecasting.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging AI technologies applicable to growth and digital commerce.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Success teams.
- Influence product roadmap based on growth insights, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing, multidisciplinary growth team.
- Expand affiliate, reseller, OEM, and distribution partnerships.
- Identify new scalable growth channels aligned with cybersecurity and SaaS market dynamics.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or revenue leadership roles within software/SaaS environments (required) .
- Proven success scaling both customer acquisition and retention in subscription-based businesses.
- Deep understanding of billing platforms and subscription lifecycle management , including payments, renewals, and churn mitigation.
- Strong expertise in multi-variate testing and experimentation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and technologies that drive conversion optimization and growth efficiency.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Experience in cybersecurity, network security, or related technology sectors preferred.
