Regional Director of Family Engagement, Alpha - $200,000/year USD
Crossover, orlando, fl, United States
Families who select Alpha already have trusted advisors across every area of their lives. This is the one they haven't found yet. You will become the person they reach out to when something doesn't feel right, when uncertainty arises, or when they want to share a moment only you would truly appreciate. You'll develop enough familiarity with each family to sense what they need before they articulate it—and you'll possess the judgment and composure to address whatever they bring with discretion, warmth, and no apparent strain. Over time, you won't simply be affiliated with their child's school. You'll become woven into the way they experience this phase of their family's journey.
That level of trust isn't generated by following a script. It emerges from presence—consistent, unhurried, and daily. You'll be there during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, at evening gatherings that count, and in the unscheduled one-on-one exchanges that never appear on any agenda. You'll cultivate a community families feel compelled to protect, where belonging feels natural and referrals arise because the experience justifies them.
Alpha operates outside traditional school norms. Students complete their core academics in two hours daily using AI-powered applications, then dedicate the remainder of their time to public speaking, critical thinking, and real-world projects. No lectures. No filler assignments. Top 1% outcomes nationally. Families who enroll are investing in something they believe in—but that belief requires care and attention.
You’ll sustain that dialogue with every family, through every moment of uncertainty, for the duration of their child's enrollment. If explaining an unconventional model to discerning skeptics feels like a weight, this position isn't the right match. If it feels like the most compelling conversation you could be leading, continue reading.
What You Will Be Doing
- Take ownership of the relationship with every family on campus—the evolving, deepening connection that ensures parents feel recognized, not merely attended to
- Identify concerns before they surface as conversations, and address them with the discretion and interpersonal skill that preserves trust
- Maintain visible presence where families gather: morning drop-off (7–9am), afternoon pick-up (2–4pm), evening parent gatherings, and occasional weekend programming
- Create a campus community with authentic depth—events, rituals, and interactions that allow families to feel they’re part of something worth safeguarding
- Develop parent advocates through natural means, delivering experiences so reliably excellent that referrals emerge as a natural consequence
- Sustain the ongoing dialogue about Alpha's AI-powered approach with families managing screen time questions, skeptical relatives, and occasional doubts—not only during enrollment, but across their entire campus experience
- Recognize when a family isn’t aligned and manage that situation with the same care you apply to all interactions—safeguarding the community is integral to serving it
- Establish the systems and routines this position demands in a setting where the framework is still taking shape
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Overseeing enrollment—that responsibility belongs to the Admissions Director; your work starts when families commit and grows from that point
- Operating from behind a desk—your visibility within the community defines the role
- Maintaining standard 9–5 schedules—early mornings, late afternoons, and evening programming are integral to the position, not occasional add-ons
- Relying on administrative infrastructure, established protocols, or a complete team—you function with significant autonomy and create what's necessary
- Approaching family relationships as accounts requiring management—this role values authentic connection, not adherence to process
Regional Director Of Family Engagement Key Responsibilities
Serve as the trusted relationship anchoring every family's experience at Alpha. Maintain their confidence during challenging moments, develop a community where belonging feels significant, and establish the conditions under which satisfied families become active advocates.

- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- 5+ years in a relationship-focused role serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families—private school admissions, luxury hospitality, philanthropy, or any setting where discretion, warmth, and social competence were equally important as technical skill
- Proven capacity to sustain relationships through challenging situations with sophisticated families and maintain trust throughout
- Authentic presence and communication approach that builds confidence rapidly with affluent, high-expectation families—not polished in a way that appears rehearsed
- Direct familiarity with independent, private, or non-traditional education—either professionally or as a parent—that provides you genuine credibility when families challenge the model
- Sincere belief in AI-powered education and the capacity to maintain that conviction authentically across years of parent relationships, beyond just the initial enrollment discussion
- Availability for variable hours: early mornings (7–9am), late afternoons (2–4pm), evening gatherings 2–3x/month, and periodic weekend activities
