
Sales Director

The Sales Account Executive is a new business hunter responsible for driving revenue across Stirista’s DSP (managed and self-service), CTV, digital media, and proprietary data solutions. This role focuses on new logo acquisition, pipeline development, and closing complex programmatic and data partnerships with brands and agencies.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new accounts to generate net-new business. Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through closing, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue quotas.
- Analyze customer business goals and existing infrastructure to design complex projects involving multiple Stirista solutions. Apply outcome-based sales principles to develop custom sales plans and opportunity briefs.
- Develop and maintain an accurate, high-quality pipeline within Salesforce. Effectively manage a defined sales process, providing reliable forecasting and strategic updates to leadership.
- Establish trusted relationships with CMOs and other key stakeholders. Map out client decision-making processes to navigate complex organizational structures and secure new logos.
- Partner with internal operating groups, Client Services, and cross‑functional teams to ensure successful campaign execution and to help refine or extend core product offerings.
- Stay at the forefront of Programmatic, Digital, email, and data trends. Represent Stirista as a thought leader at key industry events and high‑level client meetings.
- Focus on high‑value targets with a defined requirement for Stirista’s unique data and media capabilities.
- Deliver clear, compelling presentations that articulate Stirista’s value in a crowded digital landscape.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and negotiate effectively, fostering strong interpersonal relationships and resolving conflicts.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- History of successfully closing large, complex sales deals.
- In‑depth knowledge of the Martech industry, specifically digital marketing.
- Understanding of B2B and/or B2C consumer marketing databases.
- Experience in selling Programmatic Media, DSP, CTV or Data Solutions.
- Strong ability and desire to prospect.
- Proven history of success in both individual and team environments.
- Consistent achievement of sales quotas.
- Deep business acumen, with a reputation as an innovative sales thought leader with a strong network.
- Adept at navigating fast‑paced environments with multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and related software.
- Available to travel as needed
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field required.
- Experience with closing large, complex sales deals
Professional Abilities
- Ability to adhere to the company’s hybrid work policy. This position requires a minimum of three days per week in one of our offices for employees residing within a 30‑mile radius of the following locations: San Antonio, TX (HQ), Manhattan, NY, Hauppauge, NY, Boston, MA, or Pompano Beach, FL.
- Remote workers must reside in one of the following states: TX, FL, MA, NY, CO, CT, IA, IL, ME, MD, MN, NC, NJ, OR, PA, RI, SC, VA or WI.
