Sales Director

This is a sales-focused role responsible for North America energy storage battery sales. It focuses on customer development, negotiation, target achievement and market insight, cooperating with internal teams to drive product growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the US market, identify potential customers (utilities, IPPs, EPCs, etc.) and maintain long-term cooperation with key clients.
  • Formulate US sales plans, track progress, adjust strategies timely, and meet personal quarterly/annual sales targets.
  • Conduct US market research, analyze trends, policies (IRA, SGIP), competitors and needs, and submit reports to support optimization.
  • Manage the entire sales process: negotiate with customers, provide solutions, prepare quotes/contracts, identify risks, and ensure contract execution.
  • Coordinate internal resources to respond to customer needs (technical, certification, after-sales) and improve satisfaction.
  • Participate in US industry events to promote products, enhance brand influence and expand customer resources.
  • Track sales receivables and cooperate with finance to ensure healthy fund circulation.
  • Maintain customer database, track sales pipeline, and provide forecasts and reports to superiors.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferred in Electrical Engineering, Energy Science, Marketing or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of energy storage sales experience with proven target achievement; proficient in US market; BESS experience and US customer resources are advantages.
  • Understand energy storage products and application scenarios; familiar with US industry policies (IRA, SGIP), grid standards and regulations.
  • Strong market development and negotiation skills; results-oriented, with good pressure resistance, communication and execution.
  • Willing to travel frequently.
