Overview
The Business Development and Sales Director – US is responsible for driving business growth across US markets by developing strategic relationships, negotiating profitable sales, and expanding the Company’s market presence in different key industries. This role requires close collaboration with the BU managers to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and sales strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and execute strategies for long-term customer engagement, anticipating needs, soliciting business opportunities and mitigating risks.
- Strategic Proposal Development: Establish frameworks for high-impact proposals that support US growth objectives and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Customer Pricing Optimization: Partner with BU and functional leaders to develop competitive pricing strategies using advanced sales models and market insights.
- Market Expansion: Lead targeted outreach initiatives to identify and engage new customers in different industries, ensuring proposals reflect strategic priorities for US growth leveraging GPSI skill set and market reputation
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with marketing, Customer Account Managers and internal teams to enhance communication protocols, clearly conveying negotiation and expectations and demonstrating progress on Sales and BD initiatives;
- Networking & Representation: Represent the company at strategic networking and industry events across the US to build partnerships and customer engagement supporting team growth and revenue objectives.
- Revenue Target Achievement: Drive initiatives and contribute to achieving the US sales budget, ensuring alignment with overall committed revenue objectives for GPSI.
KEY INDICATORS
As part of his/her function, contribution to the achievement of Global Partner Solution’s objectives for the position of Director, Business Development and Sales is accessed using the following key indicators:
- Revenue growth of existing customers
- Number of new customers acquired in the US
- Achieving the monthly target sales (GM, revenue, etc.) within assigned territory
REQUIREMENTS
- College degree in business management and/or sales (preferred)
- A minimum of 8 years of Business development and sales experience working in the US
- Experience working for a staffing agency (preferred)
- Financial and legal (Contracts) understanding is a key advantage
- Valid driver’s license and unrestricted passport

Working environment
- This role is performed in a professional office environment. Regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical requirements
- In performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; to walk; use hands to type on computer, etc.
Type of position/expected working hours
- Some flexibility in scheduling is permitted, but the employee must be available during “core” working hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. and must work 40 hours per week.
Travel
- Travel as required to support business needs.
