
Director of Finance

The Director of Finance is the leader of the strategic and operational financial functions for this well-established law firm. They oversee financial planning, accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, compensation analysis, and long-term financial strategy. Working closely with leadership - both of the company and individual offices and departments, ensures financial stability, profitability, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage financial plans / analysis to support profitability and growth
- Communicate / present financial reports and insights.
- Oversee the accounting department operations and manage budgeting, and financial modeling processes.
- Manage cash flow
- Track and manage owner compensation, equity, productivity, and profitability
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Maintain internal financial controls and risk management processes.
- Manage relationships with outside business advisors.
- Lead and develop finance team members.
- Utilize technology to improve financial efficiency and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required
- MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
- 5-7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience-professional service experience a plus
- Strong financial strategy and analytical capabilities
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
